Virginia #1 State to do business Kaine interview – Video

CNBC just announced that Virginia is back at the top, squeezing past last year’s winner, Texas, by a nose—just four points. Texas remains a business powerhouse, but the Old Dominion State, always a solid performer across the board, managed just enough improvement in the right areas—economy, for one–to regain the title it won in 2007.

Governor TIm Kaine was asked why Creigh Deeds was being challenged on the economy. Insinuation is that Deeds is the logical successor versus Bob McDonnell since Virginia is doing so well since Warner/Kaine Democratic governors. Kaine said the gubernatorial race is a dead heat and that he was 7 points down at this point in time when he ran for governor 4 years ago. He wished he had been in Deeds place in the polls 4 years ago.
