Democrat Terry McAuliffe announces campaign co-chairs

Terry McAuliffe’s campaign for Governor announced today its initial team of campaign co-chairs from across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

McAuliffe Campaign Co-Chairs Include:

Senate Democratic Leader Richard Saslaw, Fairfax,

Senate Democratic Caucus Chair Donald McEachin, Henrico

Senator Mamie Locke, Hampton

Mayor Paul Fraim, Norfolk

Del. Alfonso Lopez, Arlington

Del. Jennifer McLellan, Richmond

Chair Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Sharon Bulova, Fairfax

Hon. Shannon Valentine, Lynchburg

Clerk of Court Jack Kennedy, Wise

“Because of his experience and priorities, Terry McAuliffe will be an excellent Governor who is focused on job creation and common sense fiscal responsibility in Virginia. We need the next Governor to bring people together for mainstream solutions and that’s exactly why I am supporting Terry,”said Congressman Connolly.

“I am proud to have the support of leaders across Virginia who are working for mainstream solutions to grow our economy. I intend on running a campaign that will unite Virginians who share my focus of putting job creation and common sense fiscal responsibility above divisive partisan crusades,” said McAuliffe.

Over the past four years, McAuliffe has traveled throughout Virginia, participating in over 2,400 meetings and events. These distinguished Virginians join the 400 individuals who urged McAuliffe to run for Governor earlier this year.
