Part I & II – Last round on Countryside Golf Course video

My friend Newt and his brothers played one last round on Countryside Golf Course. Newt’s brothers even remember when it was a farm. They lived adjacent to the course growing up and my friend Newt was the head “golf ball hunter.” He knows every nook and cranny here.

Whether you live here now or lived here in the past Countryside brings fond memories. Memories of pool parties, community gatherings, tennis and stories of professional golfers who got their start at Countryside.

The sad part is their were more memories just waiting around the corner until the door slammed shut. This is Part I and Part II. Newt is still working on the last holes. I think my friend realized the strain of walking the course rather than taking a golf cart … so I’ll give him a pass on finishing Part III.
