Steve Shannon Makes Light-hearted Video on Accepting 3 Debates

Democratic candidate for Virginia Attorney General, Steve Shannon makes an amusing video on agreeing to three more debates with his opponent Ken Cuccinelli between now and Election Day.

In a press release he says that each of these debates will provide an important opportunity to contrast my record as a criminal prosecutor who will keep Virginians safe with my opponent’s personal political agenda.

Shannon said that “I expect Ken and I will have a vigorous exchange on the critical public safety issues facing our Commonwealth. And I’ve already started preparing for it and the video is a light-hearted way of announcing the remaining three debates in this campaign – but make no mistake about it – I am running for Attorney General to confront serious threats to the public safety of all Virginians.”

His plan is to make Virginia safer by cracking down on drugs dealers, gang leaders and Internet predators who target our children.

Shannon said he, “enjoyed my last debate with Senator Cuccinelli in front of the Virginia Bar Association in Hampton Roads and I am looking forward to taking the stage with him three more times before Election Day.”

Looks like Shannon has one friend and he doesn’t understand him either…
