McAuliffe and Cuccinelli announce fundraising figures for June

Terry_McAuliffe2_web-300x225Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAulife’s campaign announced today that he raised more than $1.9 million during the month of June from more than 5,000 donors and nearly every county in Virginia.  He raised more than $5.6 million total during the 2nd quarter.  McAuliffe’s cash on hand is now just over $6 million.

“Terry is grateful to the thousands of Virginians who have joined in support of his campaign and the leaders from both parties who have endorsed him for governor,” said McAuliffe spokesperson Josh Schwerin. From 5/30/13 through 6/30/13:
  • 78% of contributors were from Virginia
  • 88% of contributors gave $100 or less
  • More than 5,100 total contributors

Ken Cuccinelli’s  campaign also released its fundraising totals today for the month of June, reporting over $1.1 million raised with nearly $2.7 million cash on hand. The campaign received 3,741 donations in the 30 day finance period

“This reporting period shows Ken Cuccinelli will have the resources necessary to spread his message of economic prosperity throughout the Commonwealth,” said Dave Rexrode, Campaign Manager.

These numbers are for the reporting period from June 1st – June 30th.
