Tragedy – Brother of Sharebike Operator Killed While Cycling

Cary, North Carolina resident Bruce Roser, 56,  brother of James Roser who operates Sharebike located in the corner of the Market building in downtown Roanoke was tragically killed during a 62-mile biking excursion. He collided with a vehicle in Apex.

According to The News & Observer Bruce Roser was a retired IBM software engineer who was a member of multiple cycling organizations. Bruce Roser was an cycling instructor and sticker for the rules. He and his wife, Margaret frequently rode Tandem bikes together.

His brother James Roser operator of Sharebike is an avid cyclist like his brother. He travels only by bike every where he goes. The news of his brother’s passing is spreading throughout the cycling community. The collision with a vehicle is still being investigated in Apex.
