Habeeb leads in voter snapshot of the 8th district House of Delegates contest

In an unscientific poll of likely voters the Republican candidate for the 8th district House of Delegates Greg Habeebleads with likely voters – 61% to 23% with 16% undecided or not responding. Less likely voters came in at 44% to 15% favoring Habeeb. (Poll by Habeeb campaign)

In a request to both campaigns on their schedule of activities Republican candidate Greg Habeeb said he had just returned from the homebuilders’ legislative breakfast where his opponent though invited did not attend.

Habeeb said besides his fundraiser with Congressman-elect Morgan Griffith this evening he has accepted invitations to a Tea Party and Second Tuesday Constitution meeting, Salem PTA, the Salem and Glenvar Rotary clubs and the Chamber of Commerce.

A Monday message left with David Lipes asking for upcoming events that Democratic candidate, Ginger Mumpower is attending was not returned.
